Conclusion of Will and LPA Service
When our LPA-Making and Will-Drafting service is concluded each party will have:
- a bespoke Will; tailored to their specific wishes;
- two LPAs - a property and affairs LPA and a Health and Welfare LPA (Assuming that both LPAs were wanted.)
- any side letter that is considered needed to support the Testator’s Will; and
- jointly owned property (Held as ‘Joint tenants’) changed to ‘tenants in common’ where this is required for a trust in your Will to work; and
- More.
A. have been printed on high-grade quality paper;
B. contain your instructions and guidance notes your attorneys; and
C. are either:
- ready for immediate use by your attorneys - if you paid us to arrange for the LPAs to be registered with the Office of the Public Guardian; or
- ready for you to arrange their registration with the OPG - if you did not instruct us to oversee their registration the Office of the Public Guardian.
- The Will will:
A. have been printed on high-grade quality paper and be securely bound.
B. contain security features designed to make any tampering with it obvious;
C. be legal (under English Law);
D. clearly set out how the testator’s estate is to be distributed on the testator’s death - which will be in line with their wishes;
E. contain any testamentary trusts required to achieve the desired distribution;
F. contain the required administration clauses that make life easier for your executors and beneficiaries.
